The police, mayor and city council are RV-unfriendly in Buckeye Lake, OH. We've written several letters asking for a response about our concerns and they do not respond.
We had just purchased a chair from a local store, left their parking lot on a side street, driven 2 blocks when a policeman coming toward us pulled us over because we were driving the wrong way down a one way street which had no sign where we entered the street. We've asked the city to ensure a sign is put up and informed them that it seemed less than friendly that a policeman would give a 65 year old, out of town driver with nothing on his driving record, unfamiliar with the city streets a ticket rather than a warning.
Perhaps the city of Buckeye Lake uses their one way streets as a money-maker?
