I think that those who camp at Wal-Marts are the ones ruining it for everyone else. I think it should be overnite at Wal-Mart, coming in as a last resort and leaving early as possible. Just because you are a penny pincher and prefer to mooch off everyone else does not justify camping at Wal-Marts. That is those who put out awning, show up at 3 in the afternoon, put out bbq and so on. I think all you types should be arrested or run out of town as transients. More and more cities are passing laws making it hard for people to stay in anything but an RV park or campground. And based on most of those legislations, it's because of those who camp and don't just stop to rest.
Had a fellow come into the park the other day who was bragging about all those places he stayed enroute to here. Only one in 6 states was a park; all the rest were Wal-Marts and so on. And he's here at the national park spending money like it's made on trees. I asked him why he does that and he said, "Why shouldn't I be able to camp at Wal-Marts? I spend my money there." I called him a cheapskate and a user, of which he basically admitted it and also called me a few choice words I cannot mention here.
I guess cuz we spend money at gas stations, entertainment sites, people's home parties for Avon or Tupperware that we should be able to camp on their properties.
That's my 10 cents worth and I'm sticking to it.
