If one wished to save some money on RVing, you could try doing the VIP thing. You contact parks, Forest Service, and so on and ask about being a volunteer. They will usually give you a campsite with full hookups and sometimes a stipend for working at the park for 32 hours a week. These jobs include visitor center hosts, river and tour hosts, campground hosts, and so on. I have received 5 dollars a day and 10 dollars a day for working as well as my site. I have also heard of sites paying as much as 25 dollars a day.
